3D printed Jumper wire/cable holder/organizer V2.0

Update 2nd March 2024:

Version 2.0 is now available, based on very useful feedback, thanks all. stl files can be dragged into any slicer for gcode. STEP files and SolidWorks files are provided if you want to add your own holes (for magnets or screw holes for example), or just glue them to the nearest wall. The test file from version 1.0 proves useful to some people so I will keep that up. V1.0 is archived in “Other Files”.

Use suggestions: Glue/bolt/magnet it onto a wall/cabinet. STEP files are provided so you can cut out your own holes on CAD software like SolidWorks or AutoCAD. Additionally, you can just drill the holes yourself after printing at 100% infill (approx. 1h40m).

About the Print:

• IMPORTANT: Be warned that the first layer of the legs is easily warped, glue may help, I used sprayed-on adhesion by 3DLAC. Will grip wire tighter if warped.
• No support is needed.
• There is a test print, if you want to fine-tune the tolerance of how tightly it holds the wire, simply scale the model up or down by 1-5%. If it is too tight, scale up, if it is too loose, scale down.

My printer is the Prusa MK3S+, and I used Prusa slic3r, nozzle 0.4 mm, default settings of 0.2mm (quality). Infill should be at least 15%.

The gaps are deep enough for an entire bundle of wire from the Elegoo Arduino kit.
